Common questions
Does a graphene coating mean I never have to wash my car?
No. The hydrophobic surface makes washing easier and means you can wash less frequently, but regular washing is still important to keep contaminants off the paint and the coating performing well.
Will the coating stop scratches?
No coating can make paint scratch resistant in every situation. The Kovalent Graphene Matrix adds a hard, durable layer with over 9H hardness that improves resistance to everyday swirls and light marring, but it will not prevent or repair deep scratches, chips or dents.
What about self-healing?
Any self-healing only reduces the appearance of minor swirls and light scratches when the surface is gently warmed to around 100°C. It does not fix deeper damage, so treat it as a helpful bonus rather than a cure-all.
How long does it last?
With correct care and regular maintenance, the coating can last up to 9 years, making it a practical, long-term choice for a daily driver.
